What we collect

When you check in at a JPEG Bruja event we collect your name and, at your choice, an email address, a mobile phone number, or both. During and after the event we associate the portraits taken during your session with your check-in, and we record basic delivery activity: whether your delivery email was opened, whether your gallery was viewed, and any favorites or notes you add to your own photos.

How we use it

• To run your session: holding your place in line and letting you know when your session is about to begin.
• To deliver your photos: sending you a private gallery link by email or text message, and notifying you when new photos are added or before your gallery is removed.
• To ask, once, how your experience was after you have viewed your photos. You can opt out of such follow-up emails with one click, and every such email includes an unsubscribe link.
• Marketing email (such as news about future events) is sent only if you checked the opt-in box at check-in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Text messaging consent

Text messages are sent only if you provided a mobile number, and only about your own session and photos. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, excluding the vendors listed below solely as needed to deliver the messages themselves. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts.

Who processes it

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing. Data is processed only by the infrastructure vendors that run the service on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Cloudflare (photo storage), Resend (email), and Twilio (text messages), each bound by their own data protection terms.

Retention

Delivered photos are removed from online storage approximately 30 days after delivery; we send a reminder before removal. Check-in and delivery records are retained so past deliveries and consent choices can be honored. You can ask us to delete your information entirely at any time.

You can opt out of texts (reply STOP), follow-up emails (unsubscribe link), and marketing (unsubscribe link or ask us), or request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing hello@jpegbruja.com. See also our Terms and Conditions.
